Responsibility to natural heritage
By its manufacturing activity, Revoz reaches almost to the very centre of Novo Mesto.
That is why environmental management is one of our most important activities, derived from Renault Group's environmental policy. The plant takes an active part in the sustainable progress concept adopted by the Renault Group and defined as the environmental and social responsibility of the company towards its personnel as well as towards the environment.
Continuous progress and conditions favourable to the future of the company can be obtained only by successful harmonization of economic, social and environmental aspects of management. Consequently, the personnel permanently strive to introduce new technologies and working procedures in order to minimise as much as possible the environmental impacts.
Environmental management policy
Revoz's environmental policy is derived directly from the Renault Group’s industrial environmental policy. The entire personnel of the plant is concerned with continuous progress in the field, they are committed to improve their environmental indicators and to include environmental management in their everyday work.
Economizing natural resources
Revoz’s principal goals in reducing environmental impacts shall be obtained by following actions:
- managing energy consumption:
- managing water consumption;
- treating wastewater so that releases contain the smallest possible concentrations of heavy metals;
- reducing emissions of volatile organic compounds;
- reducing the volume of non-dangerous and dangerous industrial waste;
- increasing the volume of separated waste.
